Digital Maps

Our digital map is extremely detailed with points of interest. It is by far, the most comprehensive and accurate digital map of Trinidad and Tobago, on the market. We have enhanced the map ourselves using handheld devices which are accurate to the centimeter, effectively making our map accurate to within 3 feet. The exercise involved significant hands on work and took just over two years to complete. We did not want to offer a map where data was compromised for any reason, since the accuracy of your reporting depends so much of the integrity of the map data we provide. We are also adding building data to our map and thousands of points of interest to make identifying your asset and surrounding areas much quicker and easier. We also have the ability through our “map on demand” feature to add any particular point you may be interested in adding, thereby enhancing your route management and planning. We are capable of adding thousands of points per month and more importantly, the client themselves can add identification points as well. Our map enhancement is an ongoing process and you will see new additions show up periodically on your solution. All of this transparent to you, although there is a small fee for adding points of interest to you account, there is no fee for adding pushpins to your account.

 Customization and Add-on components

Seatbelt immobilizer - This feature will disable the vehicle from starting unless 1 or all seatbelts are buckled. It works in conjunction with your seatbelt sensor, to ensure passengers are buckled up at all times before the vehicle moves

 Breathalyzer immobilizer - With this feature, the vehicle will not start without first receiving a reading through a small breathalyzer component installed in the vehicle. If the alcohol content of the issuing party is above what is pre-programmed into the unit, then the vehicle will not start.

 Anti-Tampering Device - With this feature, you will receive an immediate notice (via voice call and email) whenever your vehicle is being tampered with and your alarm is set off. Whether someone hits your glass, bumpers or sets off the alarm, you will receive a call to your cell phone from the vehicle, where you can listen in and decipher if someone is in fact tampering with your asset 

 Panic Button auto call feature - In the event that you press a panic button, not only will our 24 hour dispatch center receive an immediate email notifying us of the event, but the unit will call our dispatch center to a dedicated secure phone number where our call center personnel can listen into the vehicle to determine if there is a kidnap situation or decipher vital information in terms of a car jacking or similar situation. The vehicle in question would then pop up automatically on our state of the art call center monitoring software, and we can then track the vehicle every second to supply the police with the necessary information for safe retrieval of any hostage and the vehicle itself. TCM will also issue and immediate branded response where two marked vehicles will attain line of sight of the vehicle to give us visual information as well.
